Netflix Announces 'To All The Boys I've Loved Before' Sequel Release Date

Psst! Netflix just revealed P.S. I Still Love You, the sequel after To All the Boys I've Loved Before, is coming next February!

On Thursday (August 15), the streaming network announced via Twitter that Peter and Lara Jean will be returning to the small screen for the franchise's second installment, which arrives February 12 — just in time for Valentine's Day 2020. But catch this: if that wasn't exciting enough, Netflix surprise-revealed that a third movie — To All the Boys: Always And Forever Lara Jean — is already in production!

As you know, the rom-com franchise, based on the bestselling young adult novel series by author Jenny Han, garnered a massive fan base since it released in August 2018 and has been lauded for its Asian representation. The original cast, including Lana Condor as Lara and Noah Centineo as one of her love interests, Peter, will return for the sequel, as well as newcomers Jordan Fisher as John Ambrose McClaren and 13 Reasons Why's Ross Butler as Trevor Pike.

Additionally, it's also been said P.S. I Still Love You will follow the same plot of Han's book of the same name.

According to Collider, "the second book begins with the release of the 'video tape' and follows Lara Jean as she tries to find out who posted it. The story gets more complicated when John Ambrose McClaren, one of the boys to whom she wrote a letter, writes Lara Jean back, and the two childhood friends reunite."
