Aaron Rodgers 'Really Excited' To Have Kids With Fiancée Shailene Woodley

Aaron Rodgers is "really excited" about starting a family with his fiancée Shailene Woodley.

“I’m in that age group where a lot of my close friends from high school and college are fathers now and have families of their own,” the Green Bay Packers athlete, 37, told Zenith Watches CEO Julien Tornare in a recent Instagram Live, according to Us Weekly.

“It’s maybe not in the immediate future but definitely something that I really look forward to," he continued. "I’ve done a pretty good job at taking care of myself for the last 37 years and look forward to taking care of another life at some point too. I just think it’s going to be so fun.”

Rodgers said becoming a dad will be his “next great challenge," adding that it is something he's “always dreamt about." He concluded, "I'm really excited about that chapter whenever it comes."

Rodgers announced his engagement news during last month's NFL Honors awards show in which he casually thanked his then-mystery "fiancee."

The Divergent alum officially confirmed the exciting news weeks later on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, revealing that the couple had actually "been engaged for a while."

“He’s, first off, just a wonderful, incredible human being. But I never thought I’d be engaged with somebody who threw balls for a living,” Woodley told Fallon on the show. “Like, I never thought as a little girl … ‘Yeah, when I grow up, I’m gonna marry someone who throws balls! Yeah!’ But he’s really just so good at it.”

In case you missed it, Woodley also revealed the massive diamond ring Rodgers used to pop the question during her Tonight Show appearance — watch it again below.
