Nickelodeon's 'Double Dare' Tapes Super Bowl Special for Sunday

For the first time in the show's 30+ year history, "Double Dare" is going on the road! Nickelodeon is bringing it's venerable messy game show to Atlanta for Super Bowl taping a special episode Thursday with celebrity football players raising money for charity.

The "Mayor of Double Dare" Marc Summers, and new host Liza Koshy, are on location playing "Double Dare" in front of an audience at the Super Bowl Experience at the convention center in Atlanta. The special show is slated to air on Nickelodeon at Noon on Sunday, Feburary 3, 2019.

It's not your normal "Double Dare", however. According to host Marc Summers speaking to NESN Network, the show will have 10 obstacles in the final obstacle course instead of the usual 8 because of the "amazing shape" the football players are in. They're fully expecting these players to smash through the messiest minute in television with ease.

Look for fun football-themed questions, Physical Challenges and Obstacles this Sunday with players from across different NFL teams.
