The National Transgender Visibility March Happens Saturday In Washington DC

Saturday marks a moment in history as thousands of expected attendees attend the first-ever National Trans Visibility March in Washington, DC. There will be speakers, activists and members of the transgender, gender non-confirming and non-binary communities taking a stand against hate and discrimination.

There is also a huge need for volunteers!

Taylor Lianne Chandler, executive producer of the marketing team for Capital Pride, spoke with me about the importance of this march and to get the word out that volunteers are needed to help make sure our trans brothers & sisters are heard!

The National Trans Visibility March Ambassadors from Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Memphis, New York and San Francisco will lead the charge partnering with national and local allies calling for the passing of the Equality Act, which includes equal rights, fair housing, financial equity, healthcare equality and physical safety.

To get involved, and even participate in the VIRTUAL march using #March4TransEquality, go to transmarchondc.com.
