Brooklyn Deputy Inspector Emanuel Gonzalez allegedly told his officers during roll call to “shoot 50 Cent on sight,” reports the New York Daily News. Deputy Inspector Emanuel Gonzalez made the comment last June ahead of an NYPD-sanctioned boxing match that the rapper was scheduled to attend. Gonzalez claimed it was just a joke, but police headquarters launched a probe. The Internal Affairs Bureau’s Group 1, which handles police corruption cases for captains and above, is currently investigating. "I take this threat very seriously and im consulting with my legal counsel regarding my options moving forward," the rapper wrote on Instagram Sunday. "I am concerned that I was not previously advised of this threat by the NYPD."
